The staff and Board of Directors of NKCRC would like to introduce you to our newest board member. Kynan was born and raised here in North Kohala. He grew up actively participating in community programs like Ka Hana Noʻeau, Sustainable Hawaiʻi Youth Leadership, and Mauka to Makai to name a few. Upon graduation from Kamehameha Keaau, Hawaiʻi Kynan moved to Arizona to attend college earning his BA from Northern Arizona University. He then moved home and focused on his career in the hotel industry. Like many in the industry, COVID-19 had an impact which allowed him to pivot and assist with the many food programs throughout Kohala. His service to our community has been instrumental especially here at the center.
