Indeed this dream is started. In the ahupuaʻa of Honomakaʻu in the shadow of Kohala High School lies this little oasis . Ka Lei Kēia ʻĀina Aloha, is a nursery of Native Hawaiian lei plants started and nutured by Clyson Marquez and some very special community members.
Clysonʻs hope is that one day this nursery will supply lei makers with their every need along with being able to propogate Natives for homeownerʻs and businesses landscaping needs.
